Chelsea Meyers

Chelsea Meyers (Scenic Designer - Napoleon, OH) is a visual artist, trained in painting and art history, interested in fabrics and textiles, working in the diverse world that is theatrical design. She studied art history at Case Western Reserve University and design at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Scenic design is a current fascination, granting her the opportunity to create theater-sized paintings that move and speak. She has recently been nominated for a Jeff Award for the design of Juno and the Paycock produced by The Artistic Home. Current projects include serving as assistant scenic designer on the House Theatre production of Dave DaVinci Saves the World, building beautiful props for Eurydice at Victory Gardens and designing an opera-sized set for The Medium at Northeastern Illinois University.
