Robert M. Valdez, Jr.

Robert M. Valdez, Jr. (San Francisco, CA) received his dance training at the San Francisco Academy of Ballet and the San Francisco School of the Arts. He earned a BFA from The Juilliard School in 2008. Valdez had the privilege to study and perform works by choreographers such as Alex Ketley, Christian Burns, Merce Cunningham, Ohad Naharin, Robert Battle, Alvin Ailey, Mats Ek, Jirí Kylián, José Limón, Doug Varone, Paul Taylor, Eliot Feld, Mark Morris, and Nacho Duato. This is Valdez's first season with Luna Negra Dance Theater.
