Deshár Alhát (Leave Sunday) (2008)
Choreographed by Eduardo Vilaro
This work explores the mesmerizing music and traditions of the Sephardic Jews (Ladinos) who settled in Latin America. In a series of enchanting tableaux, Vilaro has created hauntingly beautiful images evoking feelings of loss and disappearance.
